In 2018 the Washington State Legislature passed the Washington Uniform Common Interest Ownership Act (WUCIOA), changing the laws that govern HOA organizations like the LMCC. As an existing organization, we are required to bring our organization’s covenants and bylaws into compliance with this new law by 2028.
To ensure we meet this deadline, we have hired Community Association Law Group to create an “Amendment & Restatement” of our current covenants and bylaws. We are hoping to receive a first draft before the end of 2025, and will be seeking feedback from our members.
