New Construction and Remodel Form

If your construction or remodel project would require county permits, then it also requires approval by the LMCC’s Architectural Control Committee.

Failure to get your project reviewed and approved may lead to fines, so please ensure this process is completed prior to obtaining your permits.

To start the review process, complete the electronic form below OR download, print, and submit the paper form to the LMCC Office.

  • Note that T-1-11 siding is not allowed for new construction on structure sides facing the lake or streets.
  • If yes, please complete Application for Cutting, Altering, or Removing Trees.

  • Plans should show floor plans, elevations, and square footages of living areas, garage, etc. Minimum square footage requirements are 1500 for living area and 240 for garage; plans for any structure over 150 sq. ft. (including sheds) must be submitted for review.

  • A site plan that shows location of house, garage, driveway, outbuildings, septic tanks and drain field, wetland buffer (if applicable) and all applicable setbacks.

  • Please also submit and samples of roofing and siding materials to the LMCC office.
  • After permitting approval from King County is received by applicant, the following documentation must be provided for final review before construction can commence:

    • Copy of approved septic design from King County
    • copy of approved building permit form King County
