Member Rights & Responsibilities
As an owner of a lot in the Lake Marcel plat, you are now considered a member of the Lake Marcel Community Club.
As a member, you will have access to our community’s shared amenities, our records, and our organizational meetings.
In turn, you will be responsible for paying annual dues, staying in compliance with the organization’s rules, and paying any fines related to rule violations.

Lake Access
Members can access Lake Marcel via Beach 1 and Beach 2 (shown on the map below). Please review the Beach & Park Rules before visiting.
Parking at these properties requires a gate key. Contact the office to verify your membership and a key will be issued to you.
Members can also host small personal events at LMCC beaches. See our Beach Reservation Form for more details.
Annual Community Events
All members are invited to attend events planned by our Community Events Committee. While the exact plans change from year-to-year, here are a few events that have become Lake Marcel traditions:
- Easter Egg Hunt
- 4th of July Celebration
- Community Garage Sale
- Christmas Boat Float

Membership Meetings
Each year we hold two in-person meetings: a general membership meeting during the 2nd quarter where our board members are elected, and a budget ratification meeting in November. Notice of these meetings and their agenda is sent by mail and email.
Our Board of Directors meets virtually using Microsoft Teams on the 2nd Tuesday of every month to handle organization business. Members are welcome to observe these meetings, and will have opportunities to provide comments to the board at the start and end of each meeting. A link to each meeting will be available on the calendar.
Volunteering
The Lake Marcel Community Club is made up of members like you! Our board and committees are all run by volunteers, and are vital to maintaining our community.

Construction & Tree Cutting
In order to maintain the natural beauty and appeal of our community, all construction and tree cutting is subject to review by the LMCC’s Architectural Control Committee. Violators will be issued recurring fines until their property is brought into compliance.
